Residents of Warren and surrounding communities are invited to join State Representative Bill Pluecker and independent State Representative candidate Shawn Saindon for an informal community meet and greet on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Oyster River Winegrowers, 939 Oyster River Road, Warren.

This free event provides an opportunity for community members to connect directly with their elected officials and candidates in a relaxed setting while enjoying local wine, refreshments, and light refreshments, according to a news release.

Representative Pluecker will discuss legislative actions, accomplishments, and key issues addressed during his time serving in the Maine Legislature. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and share their perspectives on matters affecting Midcoast Maine and the state as a whole.

Saindon, who serves on the Warren Planning Board and is running as an Independent candidate for the Maine House of Representatives, will share his vision for the future of the district and discuss the challenges facing local families, businesses, and communities. As a lifelong member of the community, Saindon cares deeply about the people and places that make Midcoast Maine special and believes that effective representation begins with listening.

Like many residents, Saindon has firsthand experience with the financial pressures facing Maine families, including rising energy costs, increasing property taxes, and the growing cost of everyday necessities. He is eager to hear directly from community members about their concerns, priorities, and ideas for strengthening the region.

"This event is an opportunity for neighbors to come together, have meaningful conversations, and discuss the issues that matter most to our community," said Saindon, in the release. "I want to hear from residents about the challenges they're facing and the solutions they believe will move our district forward."
