I’ve known Glen “Chip” Curry for over a decade, but more importantly, so have my kids. Senator Curry has taken special care to visit “inland” Waldo County, making regular visits to support schools and meet with students. He has made state government visible and local to my kids who attend RSU 3 schools.

Senator Curry shows up throughout Waldo County, whether it's the Common Ground Fair, a local barbeque, or another community event, he makes sure to be present and available to us all.  

We need forward-thinking, well-reasoned approaches that unite us. Chip works collaboratively to support communities and the most vulnerable, including efforts to prevent student homelessness and to protect retirees from inflation. We need serious folks doing serious work. Senator Curry is that leader, supporting School Funding Formula fixes to support rural schools while addressing taxpayer concerns.

Chip knows us. He has roots in the area, having lived and worked in Unity. He led programs on environmental stewardship, outdoor leadership, and civic engagement. His efforts to engage school youth demonstrate his commitment to the community and service. Curry is a collaborative leader that has assisted adult students to get further training, served as Senate Chair for the Joint Standing Committee on Housing and Economic Development, Children’s Cabinet working to reduce child poverty.

I encourage all my neighbors to vote to reelect Chip Curry. He is the right person for our Waldo County Communities, and the right leader for Maine.
