BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity Sept. 1-22.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

Sept. 1

Brent T. Morong, 57, of Wenham, Massachusetts, was issued theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Belmont Ave, stemming from an incident Aug. 21. 

Sept. 4

Daniel C. Whitney, 38, of Surry, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking on Belmont Ave. 

Leonard Tinker, 53, of Hancock, was issued a summons for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Belmont Ave. 

Jacob Bowden, 37, of Stockton Springs, was issued a summons for assault on Lincolnville Ave. 

Sept. 12

James Keene, 33, of Belfast, was issued a summons for criminal threatening on Northport Ave.
