Closing party for 'Home: Place - Feeling - Memory' summer art show
A closing party for "HOME: Place - Feeling – Memory" summer art show will be held Thursday, Sept. 4, from 4 - 6 p.m., at Bartlett Woods Retirement Community, 20 Bartlett Drive (just off Talbot Avenue), in Rockland.
HOME: Place - Feeling - Memory features contemporary works by Cynthia Hyde, James Kinnealey, Rob Merrill, Tara Morin, and Kitty Winslow.
"Art at Bartlett is very grateful to these Maine artists for lending their beautiful work," said Kelly Osborn, executive director. "We are privileged to know and work with them on this project. We will miss seeing their work every day; however, we are excited about the next Art at Bartlett exhibition, opening later in September.”
The five artists in this group show oil painting, watercolor, photography, and mixed media.
"Viewers should expect a wide range of styles, experiences, materials, and scale by these working Maine artists, all from the Knox County area, bringing an impressive depth of talent and achievement," said Bartlett Woods.
