'Belfast, When the Cows Were Still Wearing Pajamas' talk in Belfast
“Belfast, When the Cows Were Still Wearing Pajamas” will be the topic of the Belfast Historical Society’s meeting, Monday, Aug. 25, at 7 p.m., in the Abbott Room at the Belfast Free Library.
David Ruberti, Historical Society vice-president, will take the audience on a time travel back to a gentler time in the city.
"The evening will feature a myriad of postcards and images of a bygone era in our little burg," said the BHS. "You will see downtown, neighborhoods, churches, schools, businesses, the waterfront and some fun. David shall be your tour guide."
The Belfast Historical Society presents talks of local historical interest on the 4th Monday of the month from April through October. All presentations are in the Abbott Room at the Belfast Free Library and are open to the public. Seating is limited to 75.
