Camden Hills girls soccer once again a top 20 nationally ranked team
ROCKPORT — For a fifth consecutive week, the Camden Hills varsity girls soccer is a nationally ranked squad.
After dipping last week in the rankings from 20th to 21st, the Windjammers are once again in the top 20 as the 20th best squad in the country.
Interestingly, the Windjammers are the only team from Maine ranked.
Records listed are through games played Oct. 27, though the Windjammers (14-0) did not play any games this past week.
Camden Hills begins its bid for a fourth consecutive state championship today, Oct. 29, against Lewiston in a regional quarterfinal showdown.
The Super 25 rankings are compiled by United Soccer Coaches in coordination with USA TODAY High School Sports based on results from the current season, quality of players and strength of schedule.
The next iteration of the rankings will be released Tuesday, Nov. 5.
