Camden Hills Regional High School Girls Soccer wins quarterfinal game over Mt. Blue
ROCKPORT — At a home game Oct. 29, the Camden Hills varsity girls soccer team took a post-season playoff win against Mt. Blue High School, with a final score of 8-0 (mercy rule).
This was the first game of the Class A quarterfinals.
Scoring got started in the first three minutes of the game, thanks to No. 8 Molly Williams, a freshman on the team. Williams then went on to score a hat-trick in Camden’s victory of Mt. Blue.
CHRHS Varsity Girls Soccer Team went a perfect 14-0 in the regular season and hopes to keep their perfect season intact throughout the rest of the playoffs. It has been quite a year so far for the team, coached by math teacher Meredith Messer — who has also been the head coach for nearly 15 years.
The CHRHS Girls Soccer Team last won a title in 2019, and which was the fourth title in a row.
