Beverly L. Faustini, obituary
ST. GEORGE — Beverly L. Faustini, 90, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2026, at Bella Point Assisted Living Facility in Camden, following complications from Alzheimer's. She was born March 1, 1936, in Tenants Harbor, Maine, the daughter of Albin and Lila (Drake) Falla.
Beverly graduated from St. George High School in Tenants Harbor. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Faustini, at Tenants Harbor Baptist Church in St. George. She began her working life in 1953 at The Green Island Packing Company, later moving on to Holmes Packing Company and then Port Clyde Canning, where she stayed until it closed in 1997. She went on to work at, and eventually retire from, Target Marketing in Rockland. Beverly had a wide circle of friends, and one especially dear friend, Dot Nolan.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Bob, in 2021 after 66 wonderful years of marriage. She was also predeceased by her brother, Harold "Bud" Falla; her sister, Arlene Auld; and her son-in-law, Harvey Davis.
More than anything, Beverly lived for her family and the traditions that brought them together. She adored the holidays and the memories made around her table, her pies, especially coconut cream and apple, were the stuff of legend, and she never let anyone leave her house hungry or empty-handed. She loved a good afternoon of shopping on QVC and puttering in her yard, and she was a devoted New England Patriots fan. Summer weekends often found Beverly and Bob at the Owls Head Transportation Museum car shows with their beloved 1948 Chevrolet, and every year without fail they took part in the July 4th and Lobster Festival parades. She also cherished the hunting trips she shared with Bob in Cutler.
Beverly is survived by her son, Robert J. "Bob" Faustini; her daughter, Rachael Faustini-Davis; her grandchildren, Lindsay Labree and her husband Jeremiah, and Nicholas Faustini and his wife Shelby Chadwick; and her two great-grandchildren, Ava and Matthew LaBree.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11 a.m., at North Parish Cemetery in Wiley's Corner, St. George, with the Rev. Wayne Sawyer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Odd Fellows-IOOF #132, PO Box 315, Tenants Harbor, ME 04860.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, Rockland. Memories and condolences may be shared on Faustini’s Remembrance Page at www.bchfh.com.
