THOMASTON — Watts Hall Community Arts will host Y2K Night, a throwback dance party featuring the biggest pop, hip hop, dance, and club hits of the late 1990s and early 2000s, on Friday, Aug. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m., at Watts Hall, 174 Main Street in Thomaston.

Featuring music by DJ Souz, "the event celebrates the music of the Y2K era while offering an early evening schedule that's perfect for anyone looking for a fun, but not late, Friday night out," said Community Arts, in a news release.

Austin Sousa, also known as DJ Souz, has been entertaining crowds throughout New England for more than a decade.

"Known for his high-energy style and ability to read the room, Sousa has built a reputation for creating dance floors that stay full from the first song to the last."
