Belfast Free Library to be closed for renovations Sept. 14 - 25
Belfast Free Library's building will be closed beginning Monday, September 14, while the front entryway and plaza are under construction.
"We thank you for your patience as we complete this important work, and are glad to be able to provide many of our usual services curbside and have relocated our regularly scheduled programming thanks to local establishments!" said the City of Belfast, in a news release.
Library staff anticipate that this project will conclude on Friday, September 25.
Monday, September 28 through Friday, October 2, the Church Street entrance to City Hall will receive repairs and maintenance "to keep our bustling building accessible, safe, and looking great," said the City.
For all regular services at City Hall, the City requests that the public use the High Street entrance across from the Colonial Theater during this time.
Please see the announcements below for an overview. Details and updates will be available on a dedicated page on the library website at belfastlibrary.org/construction.
