The UMA Rockland Center is pleased to announce its fall lineup of in-person classes, scheduled to start on August 31st 2026. “Our college students come from all ages and stages of life and appreciate being able to select classes in formats that meet their needs,” says Center Director Chip Curry. In-person classes are ideal for students seeking engaging classroom experiences, structured and focused learning, and participation in a small learning community. This Fall’s in-person classes will include:
- Two-Dimensional Design
- General Biology w/ Lab
- Interpersonal Communication
- College Writing
- US History I
- History of African American Slavery and Emancipation
- Free Speech in American Law, History, and Culture
- Statistics
- Ethics
- Introduction to Psychology
In addition to in-person classes, UMA offers hundreds of online and Zoom-based courses.
For over 50 years, the UMA Rockland Center has helped generations of midcoast students earn their associate and bachelor’s degrees, as well as numerous career-specific certificate programs. Academic planning appointments are available with professional university advisors who can assist prospective students in navigating the admissions and financial aid process.
