ROCKPORT — Come meet Charlie, the Rockport Public Library's new Youth Services Librarian during one of the library’s brand new children's programs.
On Tuesdays, at 10:30 a.m., is Bouncing Babies Storytime for children ages 0-2. This program focuses on early literacy and baby ASL.
On Wednesdays, at 1:30 p.m., is Sensory Storytime for ages 3-6. This program uses sensory play with bubbles, shakers, scarves, and more.
RPL is also introducing Crafternoons for ages 4-11 on the first and third Friday of every month. The first crafternoon is on Friday, Nov. 5; participants will be painting stenciled leaves. This program requires registration.
All of these programs are currently held outdoors. For outdoor programs and activities, masks are recommended for all unvaccinated patrons, but are not required.
