Adam Ezra to give benefit concert for Children’s House Montessori
ROCKPORT — "Get ready to crank up the volume and feel the rhythm of giving!" said Children's House Montessori, in a news release.
Children’s House Montessori School (CHMS) invites the public to "Rock the House for Children’s House, a legendary night of music, community, and philanthropy," said CHMS. "Acclaimed musician Adam Ezra, along with local stars Ethan Tischler and Benjamin Foss, will take the stage for a rocking performance where every note played echoes a brighter future for young children."
This event will take place Sunday, May 18, 2025, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Rockport Opera House, 6 Central Street, in Rockport. Doors open at 4:30 p.m.
"There has never been a more important time to support the education of our children,” said musician Adam Ezra, father of a preschool student at CHMS. “I am in love with the work Children's House Montessori is doing, and I am honored to be supporting this night of music and community.”
The benefit concert raises critical funds for the CHMS Tuition Assistance Fund, which ensures all families who wish to enroll their children have access to a Montessori education. One-third of Children's House’s students currently qualify for and receiving tuition support. In addition to supporting the needs of families through fundraising efforts like Rock the House for Children’s House, CHMS also receives state funding from the Child Care Affordability Program, ASPIRE and HOPE programs for qualifying families.
“I am inspired to rally together not only to keep this incredible school thriving, but also to make sure that a Montessori education is an option for all children in the years to come!" Adam Ezra added. The musician is no stranger to philanthropy; in 2024, Adam Ezra and his non-profit RallySound raised more than $150,000 to help end veteran homelessness in the Northeast.
The event is generously sponsored by 41 local businesses, including Rock Star lead sponsors Cedarworks, Camden National Bank and Hammond Lumber.
