"The Wonder of Maine’s Wildlife" talk with Ed Robinson at Lincolnville library

Wednesday, April 01, 2026 - 06:30 pm"The Wonder of Maine’s Wildlife" will be featured April 1, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., at Lincolnville Community Library. Ed Robinson of Orr’s Island, Harpswell, avid photographer and writer, will provide a presentation featuring stunning images, animal calls, facts, and anecdotes about a variety of species that make Maine a special place.
"Enjoy a delightful presentation featuring fine photographs of some of Maine’s iconic and beautiful wildlife," said the Library, in a news release.
Growing up in the Finger Lakes region of New York, Robinson developed a love of the natural world. This love was nourished during years of travel around the world. Heading toward retirement from his career in the biotechnology industry, he and his wife moved from England to Harpswell in 2007. They were thrilled to discover the amazing diversity of wild creatures living in a variety of habitats, according to the Library.
Robinson has written extensively about Maine’s wildlife and has published two books. His most recent book is titled Nature Notes from Maine: Puffins, Black Bears, Raccoons & More. In 2018 he published the first volume of his Nature Notes series titled Nature Notes from Maine: River Otters, Moose, Skunks and More. The books each contain 40 stories about Maine wildlife, accompanied by stunning photographs, according to the news release.
