BELFAST — The following cases were closed in Waldo County Unified Court Sept. 16-22.

Charles E. Scott, 42, of Hancock, domestic violence assault in Prospect Aug. 4, 2022, six months in jail with all but seven days suspended and two years of probation. 

Jessica Cooper, 48, of Searsmont, aggravated trafficking of a schedule W drug in Waldo County Aug. 20, 2025, dismissed; aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs in Waldo County Aug. 20, 2025, 10 years in prison with all but four years suspended, three years of probation, and $400 fine; criminal forfeiture of property, forfeiture upheld; two counts of aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs in Searsmont Nov. 10, four years in prison and $400 fine for each count; violating a condition of release in Searsmont Nov. 10, six months in jail; aggravated trafficking of schedule W drugs in Searsmont Jan. 30, four years in prison and $400 fine; violating a condition of release in Searsmont Jan. 30, six months in jail. 

Lance Ambrose, 43, of Bangor, terrorizing in Winterport Sept. 25, 2025, 14 days in jail; violating a condition of release in Winterport Sept. 25, 2025, 14 days in jail; violating a condition of release in Winterport March 19, 14 days in jail. 

Seth M. Hall, 32, of Winterport, violating a condition of release in Winterport Oct. 5, 30 days in jail; violating a condition of release in Winterport Dec. 27, 30 days in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked Dec. 27, 30 days in jail and $500 fine; domestic violence aggravated assault in Winterport Jan. 9, dismissed; two counts of domestic violence assault in Winterport Jan. 9 and Jan. 13, first count dismissed, second count, 254 days in jail; violating a condition of release in Winterport Jan. 9, dismissed. 

Tony H. Heath, 57, of Belfast, two counts of unlawful sexual touching in Belfast Oct. 25, both dismissed. 

Jeffrey D. Diaz, 29, of Knox, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Knox Nov. 19, two years in prison and $400 fine; aggravated trafficking of scheduled drugs in Knox Nov. 19, dismissed; criminal forfeiture of property, forfeiture upheld. 

John Hines, 60, of Swanville, domestic violence terrorizing in Swanville Feb. 9, dismissed; disorderly conduct (loud/unreasonable noise) in Swanville Feb. 9, $250 fine; violating a condition of release in Swanville Feb. 9, dismissed. 

Terry L. Gibbs, 46, of Brooks, unlawful possession of a scheduled drug in Brooks Feb. 26, 14 days in jail and $400 fine; unlawful possession of fentanyl powder in Brooks April 30, 18 months in jail with all but 20 days suspended, two years of probation, and $400 fine; unlawful possession of methamphetamine in Brooks April 30, 18 months in jail with all but 20 days suspended, two years of probation, and $400 fine; violating a condition of release in Brooks April 30, seven days in jail; two counts of violating a condition of release in Jackson June 16, both dismissed; violating a condition of release in Waldo Aug. 17, dismissed. 

Isaac Germany Diggins, 25, of the Bronx, New York, unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs in Jackson March 24, dismissed; criminal forfeiture of property, forfeiture upheld; unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug in Jackson March 24, five years in prison with all suspended, two years of probation, and $400 fine. 

Toby J. Davis, 49, of Belmont, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Morrill July 18, 12 hours in jail and $21 restitution.
