Saturday, June 06, 2026 - 04:00 pmOn Saturday, June 6, at 4 p.m., in the Searsmont Community Room, Springtide will perform a free concert as part of Searsmont Town Library's 'Live Outside the Library' series.
The trio is comprised of Elsie Gawler (cello), Ethan Tischler (guitar), and Willie Clemetson (fiddle), "all talented and well-traveled musicians, songwriters, and emissaries of the Midcoast fiddling scene," according to Searsmont Town Library, in a news release.
"They combine high energy traditional Celtic and Scandinavian music with heartfelt original songs and spacious creative improvisation," said the Library. "A Springtide concert is an uplifting event with music that lifts audiences with the inspiration of the tidal rhythms, coastal landscape, and creative energies we call home."
Live Outside the Library is made free by the Onion Foundation, the Friends of Searsmont Library, and fundraising by the library's Board of Trustees.
