Roger Alan Pinkham, obituary
LINCOLNVILLE — Roger Alan Pinkham, age 80, of Lincolnville, Maine, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at the Barron Center, in Portland, Maine.
Roger was a devoted father, brother, and friend whose quiet strength and kind heart touched everyone who knew him. He was a master craftsman, known for his fine custom cabinetry and exceptional skill in construction. Whether building a home or crafting a piece of furniture, Roger’s attention to detail and pride in his work were unmatched.
He was also the ultimate ski bum—happiest on the slopes or sharing stories of his adventures in the snow. Roger loved life’s simple pleasures: a good cup of coffee, a donut (or two), and his ever-present cigarettes. In quieter moments, he enjoyed a good book, loved to watch the birds and people, and could often be found cooking up something delicious or playing his guitar. In warmer months, he tended to his incredible vegetable gardens, which he nurtured with the same care and dedication he brought to everything he did.
He is survived by his loving daughters, Jennifer Davis and her husband John L. Davis of Newbury, Massachusetts, and Liza Lestage and her husband Jeremy Lestage of Gorham, Maine; his brothers, Douglas Pinkham and his wife MaryEllen Pinkham of Norridgewock, Maine, and Ron Pinkham of Lincolnville, Maine.
He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Roberta Philbrick of Salem, New Hampshire; and his mother, Mildred B. Pinkham.
He will be deeply missed but not forgotten—his stories will go on.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Maine or to the Barron Center in Portland in Roger’s memory.
