AUBURN — Pine Tree Society will host the Pine Tree Palooza music festival on Saturday, Oct. 10, from 1 to 10 p.m. at Lost Valley in Auburn. This free event celebrates the organization’s 90th anniversary milestone of serving Maine people with disabilities.

Attendees will enjoy continuous live music, local food and brews, a dedicated kid zone, chairlift rides and unique interactive competitions, including a cornhole tournament and an inflatable costume race.

Admission is free, though donations are welcome, with all festival proceeds directly funding the nonprofit's statewide programs, according to Pine Tree Society, in a news release.

"We are making history with this celebration," said Adria King, Chief Development Officer. "For nine decades, our mission has been centered on breaking down barriers and discovering abilities together. Pine Tree Palooza is a way to thank the community that makes our work possible while rallying support for the future."

Event highlights and schedule:

Continuous live music (1:00 – 10:00 PM): 

The main stage features a diverse lineup of regional talent, culminating in a headlining performance by '90s cover band Hello Newman.

1:00 – 2:00 PM: Alamo Mission

2:30 – 3:45 PM: Brent & the Burn Permits

4:00 – 5:00 PM: Jayson McClure

5:15 – 6:30 PM: Denny Breau

7:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Hello Newman

Time TBD: Special cabaret performance by Community Little Theatre

The Great Inflatable 90-Yard Dash (1:30 PM): 

A hilarious, high-energy race where participants suit up in their favorite inflatable costumes - ranging from T-Rexes to sumo wrestlers - to sprint for a cause. Registration is required.

Competitive Cornhole Tournament (3:00 PM): 

Organized by Real Wicked Events, this tournament offers a $750 first-place cash prize. Interested teams must pre-register online.
