New Hampshire police arrest Maine Bolduc prisoner who walked off of Thomaston job site
AUGUSTA – The Maine Department of Corrections said May 9 that the incarcerated man who had walked off of a job site in Thomaston May 4 was arrested May 9 in New Hampshire.
Rochester, N.H., police officers arrested Brian Day and Candice Fisher with location information obtained from the public.
Day, 45, who had been incarcerated at the Bolduc Correctional Facility in Warren, apparently left the jobsite and was believed to have been traveling in a maroon 2011 Nissan Altima. Day had been sentenced to three and a half years in prison for theft, forgery, and other offenses, but had earned a classification level of community custody and was working in the community during the workday.
The Maine DOC issued a warrant for his arrest and activated its Fugitive Investigation Apprehension Team. The DOC also obtained a warrant for the arrest of Candice Fisher, 45, of New Hampshire.
