ROCKPORT — The Midcoast Recreation Center invites ice hockey players of all ages to come to the MRC for a Theodore Hedstrom memorial benefit tournament Saturday, March 27. 

The event will be a 3-versus-3 tournament with no cost to register. All participants will have until the event start to raise funds in their communities to donate, with a requested $50 minimum donation for each player.

Individual registration is due by Tuesday, March 16. Fundraising forms will then be provided to everyone registered, to be returned at the start of the tournament.

All proceeds raised from this tournament will be donated to Theodore’s Light and the Shriners Boston Burn Unit.

All players will be split into teams and divisions based on registration. Teams will be kept in separated groups to help ensure the health and safety of all players.
