Mid-Coast Audubon bird seed fundraiser supports bird conservation, educational programming
Mid-Coast Audubon will be selling bird seed and suet through November 1 to raise funds to support bird conservation and educational programming.
Orders can be placed online through their website, https://midcoast.maineaudubon.org/event/fall-bird-seed-sale/.
Seed must be picked up on Saturday, November 8, from 10 a.m. to noon, at one of two locations specified on each order: Plants Unlimited, 629 Commercial St (Route 1) in Rockport, OR Lincoln County Publishing, 116 Mills Rd., Newcastle. Please specify on your order form where you will pick up your seed.
“Our spring and fall bird seed sales are important fundraisers for the organization as all of our events are offered free to the public," said MCA President, Jeff Cherry.
Proceeds from this sale help to provide support for speaker fees for public programs, maintenance and repairs of the Audubon's preserves, and bird conservation projects in the Midcoast.
All seed must be pre-ordered, so make sure your payment is received by Mid-Coast Audubon by November 1, 2025, at 5 p.m. According to Audubon, the easiest and best way to order is online at https://midcoast.maineaudubon.org/event/fall-bird-seed-sale/.
