Marcus Mrowka is committed to public service and the public good
I have known Marcus Mrowka for number of years and found him to be a compassionate and knowledgeable person who is extremely well-suited and equipped to serve as our state representative.
Marcus is uniquely prepared to lead in this moment based on his years of experience working alongside working people in the labor movement and with leaders like Senator Elizabeth Warren and economist Joe Stiglitz to advocate for effective policy solutions. This includes helping to pass the Affordable Care Act and Wall Street Reform, creating the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and fighting for an agenda to rewrite the rules of our economy so they work for working people not just the wealthy.
He’s also been a fierce advocate for students, educators, and public schools through his leadership at the American Federation of Teachers, the Maine Department of Education, and through his long tenure leading our school board.
All of this demonstrates his commitment to public service and the public good. I urge you to support his candidacy and vote for him on June 9 as our representative to Augusta.
