Maine House District 41 Candidate Josh Gerritsen to hold coffee house conversation

Tuesday, April 28, 2026 - 11:30 am to 12:30 pmCAMDEN, Maine — Josh Gerritsen, Maine House District 41 candidate (Camden and Rockport) will host a “Coffee with Your Candidate for State House” event Tuesday, April 28, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Villager Café, 25 Mechanic Street, Camden.
The informal gathering will provide residents an opportunity to meet Gerritsen, ask questions, and discuss the issues shaping the future of Midcoast Maine. The event is free and open to the public.
Gerritsen said the format is intended to encourage direct, face-to-face conversations with voters.
“I’m looking forward to sitting down with neighbors, hearing their concerns, and talking about how we can make our communities more affordable and resilient,” he said, in a news release.
Gerritsen said he is running as a Clean Elections candidate focused on addressing rising costs of living, including housing, health care, and energy. He has emphasized practical, community-driven solutions shaped by his experience in local government and regional planning efforts.
A Rockport resident, Gerritsen has served on the Rockport Harbor Strategic Task Force and Midcoast Solid Waste Board of Directors, as well as on the Lincolnville Select Board and Waldo County Budget Committee.
