The annual Maine Wienerfest on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Steamboat Landing in Belfast. The event will be held rain or shine and promises a fun-filled afternoon celebrating dachshunds and the people who love them, according to PAWS Animal Adoption Center.

The event is dog- and family-friendly, with activities for animal lovers of all ages.

Admission is free, with donations accepted to support PAWS' ongoing lifesaving work for animals in need.

This year’s festivities will feature crowd favorites including the Grand Dachshund Parade, a costume contest, the lively Doxie Derby, and much more. Guests can also enjoy food, local vendors, and unique dachshund-themed merchandise.
