I’m writing to support Madison Cook for Maine State House District 39 (Belfast, Belmont, and Northport). I was lucky enough to purchase a home in Maine before the pandemic that didn’t break the bank. Since then, housing prices have skyrocketed; we wouldn’t have been able to buy just a few months later. I often think about all we would have missed out on if we didn’t live in this fabulous community.

Madison has my vote because she wants to build more homes. I’ve traveled around the United States and seen many small communities that have lost their young people seeking opportunities in big cities. I want to see more young people staying in Midcoast Maine and more young families arriving to help support our aging population.

Madison’s youth, energy, and commitment, are a great example for them and everyone. Her background in architecture and sustainability is a big win for our district and our state. Her focus on housing and skilled jobs in the building trades to increase the housing supply guarantees that she has my vote. Please join me in voting for Madison Cook on Tuesday, November 3.
