Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases
ROCKLAND – The following cases were closed in Knox County Court from Jan. 26-30.
Sierra N. Bowen, 32, of Thomaston, domestic violence assault in Cushing Aug. 11, 2024, $500 fine.
Deborah L. Czuchra, 57, of Searsmont, passing stopped school bus in Camden May 5, 2025, $250 fine.
Jonathon J. Daugherty, 23, of Sheridan, Ariz., failure to comply with sex offender registry act, first offense, in Rockland Nov. 8, 2025, 65 days in jail; refusing to submit to arrest or detention, physical force in Rockland Nov. 8, 2025, failure to give correct name, address or date of birth in Rockland Nov. 8, 2025, 65 days in jail; failure to comply with sex offender registry act and violating condition of release, three counts, all in Rockland Dec. 7, 2025, 52 days in jail.
Joshua Drinkwater, 41, of Thomaston, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston June 14, 2025, $250 fine, restitution of $379.
Allen L. Fogg, 37, of Warren, criminal trespass in Warren Dec. 4, 2025, dismissed; criminal trespass in Warren Dec. 4, 2025, six months in jail; failing to stop, remain, render aid, personal injury notify of motor vehicle accident in Warren Dec. 4, 2025, dismissed; failure to notify of motor vehicle accident report and failing to make oral or written accident report all in Warren Dec. 4, 2025, six months in jail; operating while license suspended or revoked, with a prior, in Warren Dec. 4, 2025, $400 fine all suspended; violating condition of release in Warren Dec. 4, 2025, six months in jail.
Knox County Sheriff Office responded to a single vehicle accident on Eastern Road in Warren Dec. 4 and arrested Fogg who flipped his car on its roof, left the scene of the accident, and then broke into a home.
According to the affidavit filed in court by police, a witness reported that two occupants of the vehicle, a man and a woman, fled from the accident and were running through neighboring yards.
A deputy found the woman walking barefoot along Eastern Road and appeared to be disheveled with blood on her face. Police said she admitted that she was a passenger in the vehicle, according to the court document.
The driver of the vehicle who also fled the scene was identified as Fogg from a nearby surveillance camera.
The crash damaged a fence and business sign at Jillian’s Pet Grooming and Boarding. Police said that no animals were injured in the incident. The initial estimate to the business is around $10,000 and the business will seek restitution.
Fogg was located by Rockland Police Officer Tim Davis and police canine Freya who were called to the scene. The suspect was tracked by Freya for over one mile. Police found Fogg hiding inside the front porch of a residence after he kicked in a door.
He was transported to Maine Health Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport by ambulance for treatment of his injuries and then was taken to the Knox County Jail.
David Harmon, 43, of Friendswood, Texas, operating under the influence (drugs or combination) in Appleton Aug.10, 2023, dismissed; unlawful possession of scheduled drug in Appleton Aug. 10, 2023, $400 fine all suspended; driving to endanger in Appleton Aug. 10, 2023, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.
Joseph Harris, 46, of Camden, operating under the influence (alcohol), with one prior, in Rockland Sept. 1, 2024, $900 fine,10 days in jail, license suspended three years, registration suspended.
Jason Goucher-Hewett, 41, of Rockland, was found not guilty on two counts of aggravated assault after a two-day jury trial in Knox County Court Jan. 27 and 28. Hewitt was acquitted of assaulting another inmate at the Knox County Jail on March 23, 2025. He had been indicted by a grand jury in June 2025 for aggravated assault.
Justice Patrick Larson presided over the trial.
Hewett will back in Knox County Court for another trial in March for manslaughter in the shotgun death of Kyle MacDougall, 45, of Waldoboro, on July 2024 at a home in Cushing. Hewitt pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter charge.
Mathew Ladroga, 41, of Warren, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Warren July 10, 2025, $750 fine.
Alec J, Raso, 30, of Appleton, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Camden July 8, 2024, dismissed; driving to endanger in Camden July 8, 2024, $575 fine.
Krystle Stanton, 35, of Albany, N.Y., assault in Hope Nov. 25, 2024, $300 fine, 48 hours in jail; assault in Hope Nov. 25, 2024, $300 fine all suspended, 48 hours in jail; refusing to submit to arrest, arrest, or detention, physical force in Hope Nov. 25, 2024, $200 fine all suspended; violating condition of release in Hope Nov. 25, 2024, $200 fine all suspended.
Christine M. Statler, 74, of St. George, operating under the influence (alcohol), with one prior, in Thomaston Oct. 17, 2025, $700 fine, seven days in jail, license suspended three years.
Erik P. Tierney, 50, of Islesboro, violating condition of release in Camden Aug. 11, 2025, 48 hours in jail.
Kody Wallace, 32, of Rockland, unlawful possession of methamphetamine, with priors, in Rockland March 26, 2024, $400 fine, six months in jail; violating condition of release in Rockland March 26, 2024, six months in jail; violating condition of release in Rockland March 26, 2024, dismissed; probation violation of original conviction of violating protection from abuse order in Cushing May 19, 2021, 277 days in jail, probation partially revoked.
Megan Williams, 34, of Rockport, assault in Rockport on Dec. 18, 2023, $300 fine; criminal mischief in Rockport Dec. 18, 2023, $200 fine all suspended; disorderly conduct, loud unreasonable noise in Rockland June 25, 2024, $200 fine; violating condition of release in Rockland June 25, 2024, $200 fine all suspended.
Sanford Winchenbach, 64, of Waldoboro, theft by deception in Warren Aug. 22, 2023, guilty.
Troy J. Woodman, 43, of Warren, forgery and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer both in Rockland Jan. 31, 2023, both dismissed.
