Thomaston historical talk: What 1776 meant for the community we know today

On Tuesday, Aug. 11, at 7 p.m., join the Thomaston Historical Society at the Federated Church as Sandra L. Hoekstra brings Thomaston's Revolutionary transformation to life.
"Discover how a small Maine town found itself swept into the fight for independence, and what that year meant for the community we know today," said the Historical Society, in a news release.
Free admission, all are welcome.
The Federated Church is located at 8 Hyler Street (enter around back).
