With Harbor Fest comes parking advisory, Aug. 15 - 17
The City of Belfast has issued a Parking Advisory for Harbor Fest, Friday through Sunday, August 15, 16, and 17:
Commercial Street will be closed at Union Street, no parking on Commercial Street.
Lots at Lower Belfast Common and Belfast Boathouse are reserved for vendors, volunteers, and handicap parking (visible plate or placard), as well as the drop-off area on Sunday for the cardboard boat races.
Recommended parking: Washington Street and Beaver Street lots, downtown street parking, Belfast Yards, Bridge Street, and District Court Building.
Residential neighborhoods need to remain free from parking traffic for emergency services access.
"Thank you for your patience and consideration during this busy weekend," said the City.
