(Photo courtesy Alex Rheault)An exhibit reception for four Maine women will be held Saturday, June 6, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at In Good Company, 415 Main St., Rockland.
The artists are Gallit Cavendish, Theda Lyden, Alex Rheault, and Melody Wolfertz.
"Four Maine women exhibit works that blend color, form, beauty, effort, and insights inspired by lives well lived in Maine," said Alex Rheault, in a news release. "Hand-dyed rope baskets in vibrant hues, ceramic with botanical motifs and relief work, flower and pattern paintings with collage, nightscapes and cars, and winterscapes all inspired by our daily Maine lives. We come together to share our works, experiences, and bring to light our quiet, ardent practices to you."
