Developers Collaborative welcomes Eric Boucher as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer
Eric Boucher, CPA, has joined Developers Collaborative as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer (CFO/COO). Boucher brings nearly three decades of financial leadership experience in housing, banking, and professional services and will oversee the company’s financial strategy, capital planning, and operational performance as Developers Collaborative continues to expand its development and property management portfolio in Maine.
With Boucher joining the leadership team, Amanda Bartlett, previously Chief Operating Officer, will shift her focus more fully to real estate development, where she has been instrumental in advancing mission-driven projects and nonprofit partnerships across Maine, according to Developers Collaborative, in a news release.
Boucher most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Finance & Operations Officer at Avesta Housing, where he also held the roles of Interim President & CEO and Chief Financial Officer during his more than 15-year tenure. In these roles, he provided executive leadership in finance, human resources, information systems, and asset management while overseeing complex regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and long-term planning.
“Eric brings a rare combination of financial expertise, operational leadership, and deep experience in housing,” said Kevin Bunker, founder and principal of Developers Collaborative. “As our company continues to grow in Maine, Eric’s strategic insight and track record guiding complex organizations will be invaluable. His experience in housing and community-focused organizations aligns perfectly with our commitment to responsible development and addressing housing needs throughout the state.”
Prior to Avesta Housing, Boucher held financial leadership roles with TD Bank and Camden National Corporation and began his career in audit and advisory services with PricewaterhouseCoopers, building expertise in financial reporting, auditing, regulatory compliance, and corporate finance.
“I’ve long admired the impact Developers Collaborative has had on communities throughout Maine,” said Boucher. “I’m excited to join a team that is deeply committed to quality development and strengthening communities, and I look forward to supporting the company’s continued growth.”
Boucher is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the State of Maine and holds a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce.
