Soul vocalist Kenya Hall to perform at The Underground Lounge

"Since arriving in Maine from Ohio in 2001, Hall has carved out a reputation throughout the region for her dynamic blend of soul, funk, and R&B, weaving heartfelt songwriting with commanding vocals that resonate with audiences," said The Underground, in a news release. "Dubbed 'a soul powerhouse' by Rolling Stone Magazine, Kenya Hall is as one-of-a-kind as it gets. Her musical artistry weaves together indomitable vocals with a fierce blend of soul and funk delivered with a rare energy that leaves every audience she sings to better for having been a part of it."

Admission is $10-$20 (cash only at the door), and food and beverages will be available by donation.
The Underground Lounge is Belfast’s volunteer-led DIY music series, bringing Maine-based and regional talent to the stage through the long off-season.
