'Concert for Food Security' at Belfast's Harbor Fest to benefit Waldo County Bounty

"Concert for Food Security" will be performed from 4 - 7 p.m., at the City Boat Landing, Waterfront Park, Belfast. All proceeds will benefit Waldo County Bounty.
"The concert features three of Maine's best singer songwriters," said the Rotary, in a news release.
Caroline Cotter has toured 45 states and 14 countries; Tom DiMenna is a veteran folk singer known for his series "Story Songs of the 1970's"; and Louisa Stancioff's debut album, When We Were Looking, has received rave reviews and a large Midcoast following, according to the Rotary.
According to the news release, Waldo County Bounty, in 2025, produced 12,500 pounds of freshly picked produce distributed to food pantries and soup kitchens, 9,000 organic vegetable seedlings purchased from a local farm and distributed to families, Supported dozens of local farms by purchasing vegetables for food pantries, 26 "give or take" food stands in Waldo County, and gleaning farms and gardens for unused food for hunger relief programs.
The "Concert for Food Security" will use the same large waterfront lawn as the Belfast Summer Nights series with space for hundreds of people on blankets and portable chairs, according to the Rotary.
Waldo County Bounty and Rotary volunteers will be on hand to "pass the hat" and collect a suggested $20 donation from concert goers.
