Christopher Edwards, MD, joins MaineHealth Neurology Rockport
ROCKPORT — MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital welcomes Christopher Edwards, MD, to its Neurology department.
Dr. Edwards comes to MHPBH from Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he was a neurologist and senior staff physician for the past eight years. He also served as co-director of the Ochsner ALS Clinic for the past seven years. Dr. Edwards specializes in neuromuscular disorders, nerve conduction and electromyography.
Dr. Edwards earned his medical degree from the LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans in 2012. He completed his medical fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at the LSUHSC Department of Neurology in 2017, and his residency in neurology in 2016, also at the LSUHSC Department of Neurology. Dr. Edwards also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Oregon.
