Bess the Book Bus returns to Gibbs Library, in Washington, on Thursday, Aug. 28, from 3 - 5 p.m. 

This event marks the end of Gibbs' summer reading program (Seeking Sanctuary). There will be prize drawings for program participants (for gift certificates to Reny's, The Spot, Fresh Off The Farm, John's, and The Scoop), door prizes from the Washington General Store; ice cream from Daring's Ice Cream Truck, and a free book choice from Bess for ALL readers in attendance. All children from Washington and surrounding communities are invited to come and select their own book. 

"Come celebrate the end of the summer reading program, fun prizes, free books, the very best community, and just pure summer joy at Gibbs Library with Bess the Book Bus," said Gibbs.
