Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity May 19 - June 6.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
May 19
Jason Thurston, 46, of Belfast, was issued a summons for unauthorized taking or transfer on Lincolnville Ave.
May 29
Timmy Gower, 60, of Belfast, was issued a summons for unlawful sexual touching on Martin Lane.
Harold Braley, 55, of Searsmont, was issued summonses for driving to endanger and failure to report an accident on Northport Ave.
May 30
Bruce Cohen, 72, of Manchester, Maryland, was issued a summons for assault on Searsport Ave.
May 31
Meagan Bean, 42, of Thorndike, was arrested for aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs, three counts of unlawful possession of a schedule W drug on Route 1, and trafficking in prison contraband on Public Safety Way. Bean was also arrested June 3, for trafficking in prison contraband on Public Safety Way.
June 6
Elizabeth C. Hansberger, of Portland, was arrested for operating under the influence on Route 3.
