Belfast Police beat
BELFAST — Belfast Police reported the following activity May 8-19.
An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.
May 8
Adam L. Barnes, 39, of Hartland, was arrested for failure to appear.
May 14
David Mukire, 43, of Lewiston, was issued a summons for operating with expired registration on Route 1.
May 15
Israel Robbins, 43, of Waldo, was issued a summons for criminal trespass on Waldo Ave.
May 17
Angelina Perito, 19, of Swanville, was arrested for theft by unauthorized taking or transfer and violating a condition of release on Starrett Drive. Perito was also charged May 19, with violating a condition of release, tampering with a witness, informant, juror, or victim, and criminal threatening at Waldo County Jail May.
