Ardiah has transitioned to family ownership of the payroll and payment solutions business, which has been operating since 2008. In May 2025, Chris and Lindsey Austin purchased the company, marking a new chapter for the Maine-based business.

Chris Austin, who has served as president of Ardiah since January 2020, is no stranger to the company’s evolution. In 2018, he founded Austin Payment Solutions, later selling the business to Osman Page, LLC. That merger led to the renaming of the company as Ardiah in January 2020.

"With its history spanning from Maine to Kansas, Ardiah is now firmly anchored in Rockland and focused on serving Maine businesses and organizations," said Chris Austin, in a news release.

The company recently moved to its new office at 12 Water Street, Suite 235 in Rockland Harbor Park.

As part of its community engagement, Ardiah will host Rockland Main Street, Inc.’s monthly “Connect Over Coffee” on Tuesday, September 9, at 8 a.m. The company will also celebrate its official Ribbon Cutting and Open House on Friday, September 19, at 9 a.m.
