Camden Hills golf team finishes third in state playoffs

VASSALBORO — Five members of the Camden Hills golf team hit the road Saturday, Oct. 6 to compete at Vassalboro’s Natanis Golf Course as part of the Class A golf championship series.
By the end of the day, the Windjammers had secured third place in the tournament and compiled a score of 331.
Three members of the Windjammer golf team will be competing in the state individual championship round at the same golf course Saturday, Oct. 13. Those three are Cole Anderson, Parker Hilchey and Nate Johnson.
Individual results from the Oct. 6 team competition: Cole Anderson (71), Parker Hilchey (79), Jonathan Mahoney (86), Nate Johnson (95) and Drew Minery (98).
