THOMASTON — The Dot Jameson and Lucy Mayo Memorial Bean Supper, held on October 10, raised $1,430 for the Thomaston Inter-Church Fellowship Food Pantry. Watts Hall Community Arts Board members Daryl Hahn and Cathy Harn and Managing Director Kendray Rodriguez presented the donation to Food Pantry manager Roberta Carmichael and volunteer Judy Hastings on Tuesday, October 27. The total came from a combination of admission fees and additional donations from attendees.
The supper honored the legacies of Dot Jameson and Lucy Mayo, two longtime members of the community who shared a love of cooking and a tradition of making baked beans.
