Warren man charged with drug trafficking
ROCKLAND – A Warren man remains in jail after he was arrested Dec. 13 by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated trafficking in fentanyl, criminal trespass and violating conditions of release.
Richard Rytky, 62, made his initial appearance in Knox County Court on Dec. 15. Judge Sarah Gilbert set bail at $10,000 cash.
According to the affidavit filed in court by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Rytky was arrested at a residence on Eastern Road in Warren when deputies had gone there to serve a writ of possession to another individual at the address.
While officers were at the residence, they found approximately 159 grams of fentanyl and $7,000 in cash on Rytky along with two scales.
Police said in the affidavit that the cash was identified as drug proceeds.
Rytky was transported to the Knox County jail without incident.
The date of his next appearance in court has not been scheduled.
