BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity Aug. 18 - Sept. 1.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

Aug. 18

Matthew Page, 44, of Bucksport, was issued a summons for possession of a firearm by a prohibited person in Stockton Springs. 

Aug. 27

Robert N. Schaper, 31, of Unity, was arrested for domestic violence terrorizing and domestic violence aggravated assault on Hunter Road in Unity.

Aug. 29

Lee D. Silva, 41, of Freedom, was issued a summons for abuse of another person’s property on Greeley Road in Freedom.
