    BELFAST — The Waldo County Sheriff’s Department reported the following activity May 4-30.

    An arrest or summons does not constitute a conviction, and those charged are considered innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. Juveniles aged 17-or-younger are not named.

    May 4

    William Foster, 36, of Freedom, was issued summonses for violating a condition of release and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Waldo Station Road in Waldo. 

    Juice Newton, 39, of Waldo, was issued a summons for unlawful possession of a scheduled drug on Waldo Station Road in Waldo. 

    May 21

    Charles Pease, 69, of Troy, was issued a summons for theft by deception on Route 9 in Troy, stemming from an incident May 11.

    May 23

    Amanda Thornton, 34, of Searsmont, was issued a summons for operating after suspension on Back Belmont Road in Belmont. 

    May 26

    Eli B. Savile, 29, of Brooks, was arrested for domestic violence criminal threatening and domestic violence assault on Reynolds Road in Brooks.
