Wage and Hour Compliance training session offered in Rockland

Wednesday, April 01, 2026 - 09:00 am to 12:00 pmMaine Department of Labor will hold a Wage & Hour Compliance no-cost training, April 1, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Rockland CareerCenter.
This course is designed for human resource or benefits professionals, accountants, business owners, managers, or payroll supervisors.
"Labor laws can be complex," said MDOL, in a news release,
This seminar covers wage and hour laws, including minimum wage, overtime, youth employment, severance pay, equal pay, rest breaks, leave requirements (earned paid leave, family medical leave, family sick leave and leave for victims of violence). This class addresses commonly asked labor-related questions.

- March 4, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Northern Maine Community College, Presque Isle

- April 8, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. - Parks and Recreation Center, Brewer
