Victoria Watts, obituary
ROCKPORT — After a hard-fought battle with cancer, Victoria Watts made her final requests for her family to be with her. She spent her last hours with her loved ones by her side and did things her way. On March 9, 2026, she said her final I love yous.
Victoria Watts was born in 1963 to Eugene and Lista Colson the oldest of 5 children, attending school in Thomaston and graduating from Georges Valley.
In 1981 she married the love of her life, Timothy Watts, and together they raised 5 children. For many years she worked for the Thomaston school district helping wherever she was needed, then finished her career with Hannaford in Rockland.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and camping trips up north. Digging for antiques and treasures around the area and planting her beautiful flowers and vegetables gardens every year. She loved having a house full and was content when their bellies were full, always baking favorite treats for birthdays. She also made sure to pass on her love of music, animals and New England sports teams to her children. In her earlier years she could be found making wreaths with her mom and sister.
Predeceased by her mother, Lista; sister Michelle; brother in-law Ray; and mother-in-law, Faith; Victoria is survived by her husband of 45 years, Timothy Watts; her father, Eugene; her children, Timothy and his wife Andi and their children Timothy and Brady of Rockland, Nicole and her husband Tim and their son Aidan of Rockland, Shannon and her husband Keith and their children, Laura, Izabel and Simon of St. George, Jenifer and her husband Chris and their children Phoenix, Benjamin, and Iris of Easton, Shamus and his wife Sofia and their children Leila, Margo, and Ewan of Waldoboro; her siblings Mark and his wife Shelly and their children of Cushing; Michael and his wife Kerry and their children of Warren; Kerry and her husband John and their children of Rockland; and her father-in-law Bentley Watts; her sister-in-law Pam and her children of South Thomaston; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
In keeping with Victoria’s wishes, her family will remember her life privately.
Arrangements are in the care of Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, Rockland.
