First Congregational Church in Searsport opens its 2026 outreach concert series with the Sea Strings, directed by Kay Zegler, May 17, at 3 p.m., at the church, 8 Church Street. 

Joining this group of eclectic instrument players is the Pineland Fiddlers, directed by Ellen Gawler. 

"Come see the future of music in Maine," said the Church, in a news release.

Admission is by donation, and proceeds help to further the outreach concert series, which runs once a month, May-December.
