WALDOBORO — The seventh grade boys and girls basketball teams for Oceanside and Medomak faced off Wednesday, Dec. 8 in Waldoboro.  

Girls: Oceanside 43, Medomak 32 

Oceanside held quarterly advantages of 11-6, 23-10 and 31-22 en route to a 43-32 victory. 

Scoring for Medomak were Sidney Nicholls (six points), Rachel Barbour (four), Grace Havener (four), Cadence Overlock (two), Molly Emerson (10), Lilly Hills (four) and Brooke McNelly (two). 

Scoring for Oceanside were Maddie Knowlton (four points), Abby Stackpole (24), Grace Mackie (five), Abby Reid (six), Kalee Briwn (two) and Charlotte Quinn (two). 

Boys: Medomak 54, Oceanside 51

Medomak held quarterly advantages of 17-13, 28-25 and 44-43 en route to its 54-51 victory. 

Scoring for Medomak were Landon Starr (24 points), Landon Morrison (10), Clark Elwell (eight), Brayden Nadeau (six), Noah Taggert (four) and Wyatt Hood (two). 

Scoring for Oceanside were Alonzo Hoose (30 points), Grady Geratz (six), Nicholas Tripp (five), Cody Dodge (four), Carter Elliot (two), Sebastian Olson (two) and Landon Weaver (two).
