ELLSWORTH — Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital welcomes Ellen Gallant, MD, to its cardiology practice. 

Dr. Gallant received her medical degree from Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, then completed various residencies and fellowships in internal medicine, cardiology, and interventional cardiology. “

With over 25 years of post-graduate training and hospital-based cardiology care experience, Dr. Gallant is highly skilled, board-certified, and will be an excellent addition to the practice,” said Northern Light, in a news release.

An avid outdoors person, she summited Mt. Everest in 2017. While she was motivated to move to the area to be closer to family, Dr. Gallant looks forward to exploring and enjoying all that Maine has to offer and plans to stay busy skiing, hiking, paddleboarding, and biking.

Northern Light Cardiology in Ellsworth and Blue Hill offer comprehensive cardiovascular evaluations, diagnoses, services, and treatments.
