CUSHING — Murtel W. Simmons, 92 of Cushing, passed away at Windward Gardens in Camden on April 4, 2026.

The family has chosen to honor Murtel with a private graveside service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Murtel’s name to the Pope Memorial Humane Society, PO Box 1294, Rockland, ME 04841.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Hall Funeral Home, Waldoboro.
