Legion Post 30 to hold luncheon for Vietnam and era Veterans

Sunday, March 29, 2026 - 12:00 pmVietnam and era Veterans are invited to a special luncheon on March 29, at American Legion Post 30 in Camden.
"Post 30 encourages all Vietnam and era Veterans to attend whether they served in country or in support roles to connect with their Brothers and Sisters," said Jeff Sukeforth/District 6 Legion Commander, in a news release.
Each veteran may also bring a guest to the luncheon.
Social time begins at noon with lunch being served at 12:30 p.m. Vets eat free with a donation requested for their guests.
A slide show on the brown water river boats will be presented by US Navy retired Master Chief Rodney Lynch assisted by US Navy retired Senior Chief Jaime Ward.
“This event is a chance for those who served to come together and perhaps receive some of the comradery they may have been missing for many years," said Sukeforth.
