ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico — Karen Lee Stearns, 76, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on August 18, 2024 from pneumonia.  Born in Camden, she was the daughter of Charles M. Stearns, Sr. and Glennice (Butman) Stearns. Karen was a 1966 graduate of Camden High School and served in the U.S. Navy.  

A former resident of Camden, Lincolnville, and Thomaston, she had worked in a variety of industries throughout the mid-coast region, before relocating to Albuquerque, New Mexico.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Charles M. Stearns, Jr. 

Surviving are her three sons, Sean, Jeremy, and Kris; grandchildren, Christian, Kris Jr., Shi, Jet, and Topher; three brothers, Richard Stearns, Randy Stearns, and William Stearns. 

Karen will be laid to rest in a graveside service on June 15, at 11 a.m., at Maplewood Cemetery in Lincolnville. Friends and acquaintances are welcome to attend.
